Tips & Whiskers was built on a simple belief- that no community should be left behind, and no cat should go without care. We are a small but mighty rescue rooted in compassion, dedicated to the community cats living in the neighborhoods that are too often overlooked. Through TNR, education, and advocacy, we work to make humane, inclusive care accessible to cats in need.

Tips & Whiskers was founded by a husband-and-wife team who believe that every community deserves to be seen and every cat deserves a chance.

Yazmin brings over 12 years of veterinary experience to the mission, working as a Registered Veterinary Technician in emergency and critical care. But her heart has always belonged to the cats living outside — the ones in the neighborhoods that get left behind. Fabian has been an animal lover his whole life, growing up with cats by his side. Though cats and rescue aren't his profession, Fabian chose to pour his time and heart into this mission, driven by his love for animals and a shared belief that every community deserves support. Together, they founded Tips & Whiskers to bring humane care, resources, and hope to community cats and the people who love them, especially in the communities that are too often overlooked and forgotten.
